Summertime is hiking time, especially in the Taufer Ahrn Valley. Peaks, alpine meadows and mountain lakes are just waiting for you. To be mobile even without a car and enjoy great savings on cable lift rides and visits to the local museums, we recommend purchasing the Summercard. Valid a week at a time from May 21nd until October 16th 2011, the card offers numerous discounts. Mountain railways Speikboden & Klausberg, museums (Castle Taufers, mining museum, nativity scene museum …), adventure program for children, riding stables, Club Active, Yeti Adventures, sport fishing, bicycle rental, mini golfing in Luttach, guided hikes through nature protection areas, microclimate tunnel Prettau, excursions with the "Almtaxi", and so much more. The Summercard is available at the hotel or at the Chamber of Tourism Ahrn Valley for a small fee - 5 Euros per person or 12 Euros for the family card.

Over the course of a week enjoy authentic encounters with local woods and streams, peek into our museum, and experience the many aspects of life on a mountain farm - not least the diverse range of fauna.

- Programme suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years of age
- Programme runs from 27th of June 2011 to 02nd of September 2011
- Programme assumes kids attend activities independent of their parents
- Group sizes are limited to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 20 participants
- Supervision undertaken by fully trained personnel
- Alternative programmes in place in case of bad weather
